Query on Date and Timestamp Field

Hi,

I have a table in solution manager SA01PHIO.

It has fields with following datatypes

CHNG_TIME (Data element SDOK_CHTST) NUMC14

I am unable to perform select query since the values are stored as date and timestamp 20140224100311

If I need to find records for 20140224000000 to 20140224100511, it is not working.

But when you give the actual dateand timestamp like  20140224100311, it works.

How do i resolve this problem as range is not working.
